Our Sheds, Our Story
The story about how a hay field along Rt. 8 near Floyd, Virginia became our county's only shed sales lot is the story of two families seeking to make a fresh start.

My job with Long Island Lumber wrapped up in late 2023. While my family and I had prayed and thought much about what to do next, sheds had never crossed our mind.
​
About the same time, an Amish family in Meadows of Dan began building storage sheds. They could sure build a nice shed, but they preferred to avoid the technology and social media often associated with sales.
​
When I was approached about managing the sales side of their business, I met with Reuben Stutzman, inspected his product, and became convinced that his was a building that deserved some attention.
​
The Amish don't usually relocate for work, but for land and community. But when they move, they work. Reuben Stutzman brings with him a deep knowledge of how to build a beautiful and solid shed. He includes as standard features what some builders offer as add-ons, such as 2x6 floor joists in every shed and windows in every painted Smartside building.

So if you're coming up Rt. 8 and have a minute, stop in and inspect the buildings on the lot. Check the quality, inspect the workmanship, and get a few quotes from surrounding dealers. There are other nice sheds around, but I'm confident you'll find us high on quality and competitive on price. You may be pleasantly surprised at what you could save by this close-to-home option.
